Will my PupBox be delayed due to the Coronavirus?

We are currently experiencing slightly longer than usual shipping times due to the ongoing Coronavirus crisis. The safety of our warehouse workers is of the utmost importance, and we have therefore implemented social distancing and sanitation practices in all of our fulfillment efforts. This is creating slightly longer than average ship times, but we promise to get your box out as quickly as possible. 

Can coronavirus be transmitted through the PupBox being shipped to my house?

Although Covid-19 can survive for a short period on some surfaces, the CDC states that it is unlikely to be spread from products or packaging that are shipped over a period of days or weeks at ambient temperatures. All PupBox packages are packed to pawfection and then shipped using long lead shippers, meaning travel time ranges from 2-7 business days. Here at PupBox, puppies and pup paw-rents safety is the frontmost concern of ours and we would never want to put you or your furbabe in danger.

Are your imported products from China at risk for Coronavirus?

The CDC states that currently there is no evidence to support transmission of COVID-19 with imported goods and there have not been any cases of COVID-19 in the United States associated with imported goods. While COVID-19 can survive on surfaces for a short period of time, the CDC also mentions that it is very unlikely to be spread from products or packaging shipped over a period of days or weeks at ambient temperatures. All goods received from overseas take multiple weeks of ship time, eliminating any potential risk of contamination.
